In short

According to an Anadolu Agency report dated 29 October 2026, Türkiye's 2027 Presidential Annual Program calls for green and digital transformation to be pursued together in manufacturing. Integration of AI, big data and advanced automation into production will be encouraged, and work will be done to develop the green transformation certification system with AI.

Anadolu Agency (AA) reported on 29 October 2026 that Türkiye's 2027 Presidential Annual Program puts a "twin transition" approach at the center of manufacturing, handling green and digital change together. The priority sectors are chemicals, pharmaceuticals and medical devices, machinery, electrical equipment, automotive, electronics and rail vehicles.

  • Sector analyses will be used to encourage the integration of AI, big data analytics and advanced automation into production, and SMEs will get consulting on digital maturity assessment.
  • As of September, 85 companies from machinery, automotive, textiles, chemicals, food and electronics had applied to the Digital Transformation Program, with total investment of about 21 billion lira.
  • The SME Digital Transformation Support Program approved 284 applications with projects worth about 3.5 billion lira. The KOSGEB AI Credit Program will be offered through GO Dijital Cüzdan.
  • Facilities that report cutting emissions and improving energy and resource efficiency are to receive a certificate showing this, and work will be done to develop the certification system with AI.

Why it matters

The program could suggest that industrial support next year may lean toward AI, automation and green transition investments. According to the report, investments backed under the Green and Digital Transformation programs will receive either priority investment support or high-intensity support under the Strategic Move Program, depending on their size. For manufacturers in the priority sectors, this could be a chance to time digitalization and efficiency projects around the support calendar. The report gives no application dates or support rates; it may be wise to follow the announcements of each program for those details.
