Why it matters

According to the figures in the statement, most of SAP's growth comes from its cloud ERP suite, and the strategy the company calls the Autonomous Enterprise puts cloud, data and AI at the center. For manufacturing, retail and distribution companies in Türkiye that run SAP, this could make it more important to weigh cloud migration options, existing licence and maintenance contracts, and which editions include the AI features when planning a roadmap. For smaller companies, total cost of ownership and fit with local regulations are likely to remain the deciding factors in an ERP decision.
