Google makes Gemini 4 Argon model available worldwide for coding, finance and legal work
Google's Gemini 4 Argon is available worldwide through the API; introductory pricing ends on 30 November 2026, when token prices double.
On 13 October 2026 Google announced its new model, Gemini 4 Argon. It is positioned for multi-step work in coding, finance, legal, cybersecurity and science, and is available worldwide through the API. Introductory pricing applies until 30 November 2026.
Google announced Gemini 4 Argon on 13 October 2026. According to a post on Google's blog by Koray Kavukcuoglu, senior vice president at Google DeepMind, Argon was built for complex, multi-step work in coding, finance, legal, cybersecurity and science. Google also says it plans to bring the rest of the Gemini 4 family.
- Developers and businesses can use the model worldwide through AI Studio and the Gemini platform; it is also offered in Gemini for business and the paid tier of the Gemini API.
- In the Gemini app and AI Mode in Search it is available to Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers.
- Introductory pricing is 2 dollars per million input tokens and 10 dollars per million output tokens, rising to 4 and 20 dollars after 30 November 2026.
- The Gemini API offers a 1-million-token unified input-output limit; Google says the model ranks first on the Vals Index, which covers finance, coding, legal and tax work.
Why it matters
Because Google offers Argon globally in the API, companies in Türkiye may also be able to use it through the API. For teams working on contracts, financial statements or long technical documents, the 1-million-token limit could make it possible to process large files in one pass. On the other hand, token prices double when the introductory period ends on 30 November, so companies building workflows on Argon would do well to budget at the new rate. The Vals Index ranking comes from Google's own announcement.
